To help youth develop a deeper relationship with God that will empower them. We want to help you not only continue your faith past high school but throughout the rest of your life. This does not only include going to church service but spreading the word of God to those most needy. •"Who is wise? He will realize these things. Who is discerning? He will understand them. The ways of the Lord are right; the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in them" (Hosea 14:9 NIV). •What this means is that no matter what the Lord understands you perfectly and that what he does is right. Those who choose to walk along with the Lord are righteous. •“Don't love the world's ways. Don't love the world's goods. Love of the world squeezes out love for the Father. Practically everything that goes on in the world--wanting your own way, wanting everything for yourself, wanting to appear important--has nothing to do with the Father. It just isolates you from him” (1 John 2:15-16 The Message) •What this verse means is that putting material possessions before the Father is not relevant to him. It only takes love for him away. It may appear important at the time but one, five, or ten years from now it won't, but God's love lasts an eternity. Being selfish and greedy over worldly goods only isolates you from the Father. •“My dear child, don't shrug off God's discipline, but don't be crushed by it either. It's the child he loves that he disciplines; the child he embraces, he also corrects. God is educating you; that's why you must never drop out. He's treating you as dear children. This trouble you're in isn't punishment; it's training, the normal experience of children. Only irresponsible parents leave children to fend for themselves. Would you prefer an irresponsible God? We respect our own parents for training and not spoiling us, so why not embrace God's training so we can truly live?” (Hebrews 12:5b-9 The Message). •What this verse means is that as a child of God he loves you and corrects your errors. When the Lord tries to correct you do not ignore it but embrace it. It is not punishment but training for his children. God is a responsible parent for his children. We should embrace God's training not disregard it.
