See that no one returns evil for evil to anyone, but always follow after that which is good, for one another, and for all. Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you. (1 Thessalonians 5:15-18)

Weekday Prayer

A brief reading of scripture and time of prayer is offered each weekday morning in the church library from 9:00 - 9:15 a.m.

Prayer Chain

Over 60 persons have made a commitment to pray for those whose needs are presented to them by name or anonymously. The Prayer Chain involves receiving and passing on the telephone prayer message from one prayer partner to another. All members are invited. Contact Veletta Pousch for more information.

E-Prayer Chain

Others have made a commitment to pray for those who needs are presented to them by name or anonymously through e-mail from the church office. All members are invited. Contact Sherri Beaty at memluth@midiowa.net to become a part of this ministry of prayer.

Sabbath Study & Prayer

Every Sunday morning at 7:30 a.m., this group gathers to pray for the gift of the Holy Spirit upon Memorial's Sunday worship, learning and fellowship. Then there is a study of the Bible texts to be heard in worship using the Serendipity Study Bible. Persons of all ages are welcome. (Sundays, 7:30 a.m., Danny Harrison family)

Prayers for Healing

A quiet service of prayer for healing is offered occasionally with Pastors Herzberg and Burling. Members often bring family members, neighbors or friends who are not members to services of prayer for healing, and we invite you. (Sunday, Oct. 22, 9:45 - 10:15 a.m.; Sunday, March 25, 4:00 p.m.)
